Vice Chair of Psychiatry at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, Chemers Neustein Family Professor of Trauma and Resilience at Mount Sinai, and Director of the Parsons Research Center for Psychedelic Healing at Mount Sinai, Rachel Yehuda is a world-leading researcher in the neurobiology of trauma and PTSD. Her work spans risk and resilience factors, predictors of treatment response, and the genetics and epigenetics of trauma, including its intergenerational transmission. She is a pioneer in psychedelic-assisted therapy for PTSD, starting with MDMA, but not only, as we'll see.
